Supervisor Property Brigade (secondment)

Project overview

As a supervisor, you will conduct property inspections on behalf of the Property Brigade of the Municipality of Zoetermeer.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Perform announced and unannounced integrated inspections of properties, sometimes in the evenings
• Collaborate with partners such as enforcement, police, BRP (Basic Registration of Persons), and housing corporations during inspections
• Observe and identify peculiarities during inspections
• Prepare clear and careful reports on the findings
• Assess findings against relevant laws and regulations, including the environmental plan and the Housing Act
• Contribute to the further development and professionalization of the Property Brigade, a pilot focused on tackling housing fraud
• Demonstrable work experience of at least 3 years in a role as a supervisor, enforcer, inspector, or similar function within a municipality or government institution
• Experience with checking and inspecting homes, properties, or public spaces, as well as with writing reports
• Valid driver's license B
• Completed HBO bachelor's degree in, for example, Construction Technology, Integrated Safety Studies, Public Administration, Environmental Law, or comparable (preferred)
• Completed ABW1 training (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with supervision and enforcement in the area of housing, accommodation, or housing fraud (preferred)
• Experience with integrated inspections together with chain partners such as police, housing corporations, BRP, or social investigation (preferred)
• Experience with applying housing laws and regulations, including the Housing Act and the Environmental Act (preferred)
