Supplier Quality Coordinator

Responsibilities

Profile

• Management and coordination of national and international suppliers in technical projects (e.g., shipbuilding, plant or special machine construction)
• Acting as the interface between purchasing, engineering, quality management, logistics, and project management
• Tracking project progress with suppliers, including deadline tracking, status inquiries, and risk assessment
• Early identification of deviations and coordination of suitable countermeasures
• Support in technical clarifications and change processes in cooperation with engineering and purchasing
• Documentation of deviations and creation of reports for project teams and management
• Processing and settlement of negotiated additional claims in cooperation with the responsible departments
• Completed technical or commercial apprenticeship with further training (e.g., technician, certified specialist) or a degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or comparable
• Sound experience in supplier management, purchasing, quality assurance, or project management
• Sound experience in working with technical suppliers, ideally in a project environment
• Knowledge in controlling suppliers regarding quality, deadlines, and performance
• Confident handling of technical documents, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
• Fluent German and English language skills
• The position includes a willingness to travel approximately 40% within Lower Saxony
