SysOps Cloud Consultant – Terraform, Azure DevOps & Landing Zone

We support our major clients in their strategic projects around Finance, Data, Cloud, DevOps, and application development, combining technical expertise, business understanding, and delivery quality.

Your role

As part of strengthening a Cloud team within a major group in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced SysOps Cloud Consultant in Azure and Blue environments.

You will be involved in the operation and evolution of a secure and automated Azure/Blue Landing Zone, with a strong operational dimension: service continuity, handling requests and incidents, monitoring, and supporting internal projects.

You will work in a scaled agile organization (SAFe), within a multi-cloud environment where several teams work together.

Your main missions

Run & Platform Operation

Handle requests, changes, and incidents in compliance with SLAs via ServiceNow.

Take charge of recurring tickets: onboarding and offboarding of accounts, creation or modification of VNETs, configuration evolutions.

Analyze root causes of incidents and produce lessons learned.

Track all changes according to ITIL processes.

Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of Cloud services.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

Build, modify, and operate the Azure/Blue foundation components via Terraform.

Develop and maintain reusable and versioned Terraform modules.

Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines across all environments.

Automate recurring tasks in Python, PowerShell, or Shell.

Monitoring & IT System Integration

Participate in the integration of the Landing Zone with internal tools: authentication, logs, monitoring, and security.

Configure monitoring and alerts, and evolve the foundation's observability.

Integrate logs and metrics into monitoring tools and SIEM.

Write and maintain the CloudOps operational documentation.

Operational Security & Compliance

Apply IAM policies and manage secrets and access.

Contribute to environment hardening via IaC.

Produce compliance reports and collaborate with cybersecurity teams during audits.

Project Support & FinOps

Support project teams in their integration onto the Landing Zone and translate their application needs into concrete Cloud solutions.

Manage and provide reliable and automated Cloud environments.

Lead technical workshops and write onboarding guides and operating procedures.

Collaborate with FinOps teams to optimize consumption.

Ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Technical skills

Proven experience in operating Azure Cloud environments in production.

Good command of Azure services: IAM, network, security, storage, serverless.

Mastery of Terraform and best practices for modular structuring.

Experience with Python automation and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Knowledge of Hub & Spoke Landing Zone architectures (Azure Firewall, VNet Peering).

Experience with IAM, monitoring, and log management issues.

Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing tools.

Certifications

AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate: mandatory.

AZ-305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions: mandatory.

AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate: mandatory.

AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert: mandatory.

Terraform Associate: appreciated.
