For a migration project in the public sector, we are looking for expertise in network infrastructure, LAN switch migrations, and data center operations, starting immediately, at the Potsdam location or remotely.

• Creation and coordination of a migration concept for the replacement of LAN switches, including time, resource, and milestone planning
• Planning and coordination of migration activities with the client, data center operator, and relevant stakeholders, taking into account maintenance windows and operational requirements
• Preparation, configuration, and commissioning of the network infrastructure according to the target concept and migration specifications
• Execution of hardware replacement, including installation, cabling, functional tests, and acceptance of the new systems
• Maintenance and updating of technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational documents, as well as creation of final documentation and lessons learned
• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer in the field of network and data center infrastructures
• Sound knowledge in planning and executing network migrations as well as operating LAN switching environments
• Experience with Cisco-based network infrastructures, ideally in the data center environment
• Confident handling of technical documentation, network diagrams, and ITSM and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Very good German language skills as well as a structured and self-reliant way of working
• Simple billing option via our online credit portal, including online management of proof of performance
