Job description
As a System Validation Engineer in power electronics, you will be responsible for validating systems including an On-Board Charger (OBC) and DC/DC converters. Your role involves verifying system functionality, identifying and resolving malfunctions, and interacting with technical teams, potentially including on-vehicle testing at client sites.
Project overview
Context: Within complex power electronics projects, you will be involved in the validation of systems integrating an On-Board Charger (OBC) and one or more DC/DC converters.
Your objective: Verify the proper functioning of this assembly, identify any malfunctions, and contribute to their resolution. You will interact with technical teams and may also intervene directly at the client's site to perform vehicle testing.
- Analyze system requirements: examine technical requirements to prepare and guide validation activities.
- Prepare test campaigns: develop test plans and define the necessary checks to evaluate system behavior.
- Perform tests and formalize results: execute tests, analyze results, and write validation reports.
- Investigate anomalies: analyze encountered defects, search for their root causes, and contribute to identifying solutions.
- Deepen technical investigations: examine the components or elements concerned to better understand the origin of malfunctions.
- Provide technical support to the client: assist client teams in analyzing encountered problems.
- Participate in vehicle testing: occasionally travel to the client's site to perform tests, particularly on DC/DC systems.
