System Engineer

Responsibilities

Profile

• Commissioning and integration of a complex mechatronic system
• Analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software-based components
• Participation in Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering
• Analysis and understanding of existing MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow models
• Support of system architecture and the Model Based Design approach
• Execution of integration, system, and acceptance tests
• Close collaboration with designers, plant engineers, and specialists
• Technical support for firing and test trials in Germany
• Creation of technical documentation and test reports
• Independent assumption of responsibility for defined system areas
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Sound professional experience in Systems Engineering or a related technical field
• Very good knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with Stateflow is an advantage
• Knowledge of Requirements Engineering
• Experience with complex mechatronic systems
• Hands-on mentality and practical experience with hardware
• Ability to understand the interrelationships between mechanics, electronics, and software
• Independent and structured way of working
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and to Germany
