Systems Engineer – Radio Communications & Antenna

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced RF and Tactical Communications Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of advanced radio communication systems and tactical IP networks.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex communication architectures combining RF engineering, radio systems, secure networks, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Development, integration, and optimization of radio communication systems and tactical IP networks
• Design of system architectures, HLD/LLD documentation, and technical specifications
• Work on VHF/UHF radio communication and tactical data links
• Support with RF, antenna, and communication system modeling and simulation
• Configuration and optimization of IP networks, including routing, switching, VLANs, and QoS
• System integration, RF testing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting
• Planning and execution of laboratory and field tests, including FAT/SAT
• Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Support with commissioning and on-site deployment

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Communications Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RF engineering, radio communication, antenna technology, or network engineering
• Profound knowledge of VHF/UHF radio systems and RF design
• Comprehensive understanding of IP networks, routing, and switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
• Experience with RF measuring instruments such as spectrum analyzers and VNAs
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, or MATLAB
• Experience in defense technology, military communications, or security-critical environments is desirable
• Excellent English skills required
