Lead a Security Design team and advance company-wide IT security architectures for a leading defense sector company in Düsseldorf. This role involves technical leadership, resource planning, and coordination of external service providers.
Project overview
For a leading company in the defense sector, we are looking for an experienced Team Coordinator Security Design (m/f/d) for the technical leadership of a Security Design team and the further development of company-wide IT security architectures.
The position is based in Düsseldorf with nationwide collaboration. You will work 40 hours per week in a regulated corporate environment until June 2027.
Your tasks include the technical leadership and further development of the Security Design team, resource planning, and prioritization of strategically important security initiatives. You will manage and coordinate external service providers in the Security Design environment and develop company-wide IT security concepts. Further responsibilities include supporting the creation of security blueprints, assessing IT architectures for security risks, and defining appropriate countermeasures.
You will participate in defining and monitoring SLA and KPI specifications and contribute to the continuous improvement of service quality. Close collaboration with Service Owners, Enterprise Architecture, IT Risk Management, Information Security, Data Protection, and Compliance is essential.
We expect a completed degree in Computer Science or IT Security, several years of experience in Security Design and Security Architecture in complex enterprise environments, and experience in regulated corporate structures. Very good knowledge of ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz is required. Demonstrable leadership experience with technical teams, experience in change and transformation projects, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to the relevant audience are necessary. Excellent stakeholder management and fluent German and English skills complete the profile.
Experience in international corporate structures, Service Lifecycle Management, SLA/KPI management, and interface knowledge with data protection, compliance, and IT risk management are advantageous.
