Team Manager Internal Finance

Project overview

As an interim Team Manager Internal Finance, you will take charge of the finance team:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Leading the daily follow-up, coaching, and development of the internal finance team
• Coordinating the complete accounting within the group companies
• Ensuring timely and correct monthly and annual closing
• Liaising with the internal finance expert on the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
• Supporting group consolidation
• Acting as the primary contact person for administrative coordination with banks
• Improving processes and internal control mechanisms
• Collaborating closely with the controlling team for accurate and timely financial reporting
• Preparing information and documentation for the external auditor
• Guiding management on financial strategy, cash flow, and cost control
• Taking over leadership of the credit collection team within the year, with a focus on alignment between internal finance and collection
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, including several years in a management position
• Solid knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax regulations
• Experience with accounting software, with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Exact Online being a plus
• Experience with group reporting or consolidation is recommended
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical, results-oriented, and structured
• Fluent command of Dutch
