Interim Team Lead needed for a growing international retail and fashion company to manage a logistics team in a modern logistics center. Responsibilities include coordinating the team, communicating with customs authorities, and managing service providers.
Responsibilities
- Coordination and management of a logistics team in daily operations
- Communication with federal agencies and customs authorities
- Assessment of tax assessments and customs applications, as well as application for refunds and additional payments of duties
- Management of service providers in the import and export customs clearance environment
- Goods classification and assumption of special tasks and projects
- Creation of reports and user documentation
- Data entry and maintenance in the ERP system, as well as quality assurance of requirements

- Commercial apprenticeship in freight forwarding and logistics or wholesale and foreign trade
- More than 5 years of experience in customs and foreign trade
- Affinity for e-commerce, mail order, supply chain management, and distribution logistics is an advantage
- Open-minded and communicative team player with a confident demeanor
