Tech Lead Data AI

Project overview

We are looking for a Tech Lead Data/AI for a major client in Paris.

Start Date: Early October

Context:

You will be part of a technical Squad whose objective is to design, deploy, and implement innovative tools in Data Science, MLOps, and advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI). This Squad also provides the necessary application foundations to enable end-users to develop and exploit advanced business Data and AI use cases.

• Modernization of the current Data Science & MLOPS offering (BigData platform, Open Source MLOPS tools, ...)
• Scoping and construction of a target AI Studio platform
• Evolution of the Data and AI service portal (WEB): integration of new offerings / functionalities

• Participates in the construction and maintenance of scalable, modular, innovative IT solutions, consistent with their ecosystem and meeting business needs.
• Translates the Enterprise Architecture framework (processes, standards, patterns...) and contributes to its evolution.
• Facilitates collaborative decision-making on the best architecture (compliance, security, risks...), with a balance between adherence to the enterprise target and pragmatic response to needs.
• Masters the objectives of the Enterprise Architecture framework and describes solutions that comply with it and are implementable incrementally within sprints.
• Participates in continuous exploration (opportunity study, scoping) and helps estimate the effort and value delivered by eligible design choices to facilitate prioritization by the Product Owner and the User Pole (scalability, testability, deployability...)
• Establishes task priorities based on project needs and strategic objectives.
• Evaluates and adopts new technologies and methodologies to improve MLOps, AI / LLMOPS processes and team efficiency.
• Monitors and facilitates visibility of the compliance of solutions within its scope with the company strategy.
• Responsible for product documentation, ensuring its relevance, reliability, and consistency with architectural reference frameworks (processes, guides, patterns...)
• Supports, supervises, and coaches a technical team, providing technical direction, setting objectives, and ensuring the skill development of internal teams.
• Bring expertise and field feedback to scope and implement an AI Studio platform.
• Participate in the construction of the roadmap for MLOPS, Data Science / AI offerings and the evolution of the Squad's products.
• Be responsible for solutions, technical design, functional quality of developments (Homogenizes all developments...) and deliveries.
• Be the team's point of contact for application design, addressing all required aspects (technological, architectural, application, functional, urban planning, performance, etc.).
• The Tech Lead must possess a diverse set of technical skills to effectively lead project work while collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Solid experience and mastery of the DataIku solution.
• Mastery of the Data ecosystem and the data processing value chain: Hadoop, Kube, S3, Streaming: Kafka, Search: ElasticSearch, logstash, Kibana, DevOps: GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Datascience offerings: AWS, GCP.
• Solid skills and mastery of infrastructure concepts (system, networks, security, storage, supervision…).
• Mastery of ML frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Kubernetes, docker, ...).
• Mastery of AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), vector databases.
• Mastery of main development languages (Bash, Python, Scala, SQL, ...).
• Good communication, management, and project management skills.
• Participate in the development of the product vision by providing technical expertise and perspective.
• Be involved in the design phase and be able to technically validate feasibility.
