Mission Context

As part of strengthening an IT Core team within a major player in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Lead Developer / Tech Lead Java Fullstack.

You will work on a strategic information system, with significant challenges in robustness, performance, software quality, and application architecture evolution.

Your role will be to provide high-level technical expertise, support development teams, and contribute to defining and deploying technical best practices.

Main Missions

Participate in the study, design, and implementation of robust and performant technical solutions.

Challenge architecture, design, and algorithmic choices.

Perform in-depth code reviews and support developers in improving software quality.

Identify and propose code and application performance optimizations.

Contribute to impact studies and technical estimations.

Participate in defining and monitoring technical roadmaps in collaboration with relevant managers.

Promote and disseminate best practices for development, CI/CD, and industrialization.

Contribute to the stability and performance of the existing application portfolio.

Produce and maintain technical documentation.

Be proactive in continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile Sought

You have solid experience in Java development and have previously held Lead Developer or Tech Lead responsibilities in complex application environments.

You possess the following skills:

Advanced expertise in Java, API design, and algorithms.

Very good command of application performance, optimization, and robustness issues.

Significant experience in technical leadership and supporting development teams.

Mastery of software quality practices, code review, and CI/CD.

Ability to challenge technical directions and propose pragmatic solutions.

Rigor, autonomy, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong interest in technological watch and continuous improvement.

Experience in the insurance, banking, or finance sector is a plus.
