Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG and Sustainability

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst & Developer with a focus on ESG and Sustainability for a challenging project in the financial sector. You will be part of an innovative IT service team and contribute significantly to the digitalization of sustainability processes.

Your tasks include the capture, analysis, and documentation of technical and non-functional requirements. You will translate system specifications and architectural requirements into detailed technical specifications. Furthermore, you will facilitate IT activities such as solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners.

A key focus is on compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines in the areas of ESG and Data Governance. You will participate in database design, including schema development, normalization, and optimization. Together with architects and engineers, you will design data pipelines, integration patterns, and metadata structures.

We expect long-term project experience as a Technical Analyst & Developer for ESG/Sustainability in a financial institution. Sound knowledge of Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks, as well as a good understanding of modern data platforms and IT frameworks, are required. Industry experience in Finance, Banking, or Insurance is an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are essential.
