Responsibilities

What You Bring:

• Setup and preparation of soil and water samples
• Independent execution of routine measurements: including pH value determination, particle size analysis, element analysis, carbonate determination
• Procurement and disposal of consumables
• Support in the maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Instruction of students in laboratory work
• Participation in the supervision of laboratory practicals
• General organizational tasks in laboratory operations

• Completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (PTA/CTA/ATA or comparable)/Laboratory Assistant final examination, who can perform corresponding activities due to equivalent skills and experience
• Good knowledge of general chemical and physical laboratory methods
• Willingness to learn and apply new laboratory methods
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• IT skills (Office)

• Experience in operating a soil science-ecological laboratory
