Technical Business Analyst - 6 months | Leeds, UK (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major financial services transformation, working across business operations, technology teams and third-party suppliers. You will define target-state processes and technology interactions across complex cross-platform challenges (asset lifecycle and reference data, banking and money movement, and critical batch processing) and turn them into clear, buildable and testable requirements. The contract is 6 months, hybrid in Leeds, with 2 days per week on-site (mandatory).

Responsibilities

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Analyse complex business and technology problems and define end-to-end target-state solutions
• Define system interactions, integration points, data flows, dependencies and exception handling across multiple platforms
• Map asset lifecycle and reference-data processes across third parties, platform providers and internal systems, keeping data synchronised and changes controlled
• Define banking and money-movement processes across accounts and currencies, including the foreign exchange model, reconciliation points and operational controls
• Analyse critical batch and operational processes: cross-system dependencies, failure scenarios, exception management and manual intervention
• Strong technical business analysis experience across business processes and technology
• Proven experience defining complex system integrations, data flows, dependencies and operational processes
• Financial services experience, ideally in investments, wealth management or stockbroking
• Large-scale transformation delivery and resolving complex cross-platform dependencies
• Asset lifecycle, reference data and platform synchronisation experience in an investment or stockbroking environment (desirable)
• Banking, cash and FX processes, including reconciliation and operational controls (desirable)
