Technical Business Analyst with Securities Know-How

Project overview

We, emagine GmbH, are looking for experienced technical business analysts (m/f/d) to support the central data integration architecture and data quality platform.

The focus is on functional analysis, interface mapping, quality assurance, and conducting functional tests for data processing streams related to securities. You will support the expansion and further development of a complex system landscape.

Candidates with in-depth securities know-how are sought.

Responsibilities

• Functional analysis, structuring, and coordination of banking-specific requirements
• Creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of mapping concepts
• Planning, execution, and documentation of functional tests
• Coordination of test results with business departments, IT development, and test management
• Analysis of production incidents, including functional-technical root cause analysis
• Data validation at the database level (DB2 basis/ Kafka topic/...) and development of functionally sound solution proposals

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the data integration or data warehouse environment within the financial sector
• In-depth knowledge of credit and loan business as well as practical experience in the area of securities are mandatory
• Ability to structure banking-specific requirements, translate them into technical implementation concepts, and coordinate them appropriately for the audience
• Good knowledge of systems used such as LoanIQ, OSPlus, Murex, CMS, or Avaloq
• Knowledge of functional data structures and relevant business processes
• Very good knowledge of relational databases, ideally IBM DB2
• Confident handling of SQL
• Exposure to Kafka Streams is an advantage
• Exposure to reporting via Snowflake is an advantage
• Experience in planning, executing, and documenting functional tests
• Experience in coordinating test results with business departments and IT
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, at C2 level, including confident banking-specific vocabulary
• Experience with Jira, X-Ray, and ServiceNow is an advantage
