Project overview

For a Digital Transformation project, we are looking for an experienced Technical Business / Solution Analyst with a strong technical background.

The role bridges business requirements, solution design and technical implementation. We are looking for someone who can translate business needs into technical solutions while also being comfortable investigating issues, testing APIs and working with existing applications.

Responsibilities

Required profile

• Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
• Design and document system interactions, APIs, data models and integration flows
• Investigate technical issues using API tests, database queries, logs and existing application code
• Build small prototypes, scripts, API mocks or automated tests to validate solutions
• Use AI-assisted development tools for analysis, prototyping, testing and automation
• Create and refine Jira user stories including technical details and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects and developers throughout implementation
• Support functional and integration testing, defect analysis and UAT
• Maintain technical documentation in Confluence
• 5–8+ years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, Solution Analysis, Software Engineering or similar roles
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, OpenAPI and integration patterns
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, APIdog or similar
• Practical understanding of data models, SQL and modern application architectures
• Ability to read and understand application code and independently troubleshoot technical issues
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, scripting, testing or automation
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab and Agile
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS or Python
• ReactJS, Salesforce, SAP or MuleSoft
• RabbitMQ / event-driven architectures
• AWS / Azure and CI/CD concepts
• Experience in the Energy / Utilities sector
