Technical Coordinator - Existing Merwede Bridge (secondment)

Project overview

Technical Coordinator to support the coordination of management and maintenance activities for the existing Merwede Bridge within the A27 Houten-Hooipolder project.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordinate the preparation, planning, and alignment of management and maintenance activities for the existing bridge
• Identify and manage interfaces, interdependencies, and technical risks in the project
• Align with the Technical Manager, other RWS disciplines, and external parties
• Prepare and update coordination agreements, technical elaborations, and integrated schedules
• Establish consultation and communication structures and align roles, responsibilities, and decision-making lines
• Review contractor proposals and designs within the technical team
• Report on progress and contribute to the preparation of decision-making on technical issues
• Completed technical HBO education or demonstrably equivalent work and thinking level with at least 7 years of relevant experience in the civil engineering and/or infrastructure sector
• At least 5 years of experience with integral road infrastructure projects of at least 10 kilometers of highway in the design and realization phase
• At least 5 years of experience in an independent technical role in the realization and/or coordination of road infrastructure projects
• At least 5 years of experience in reviewing and critically examining execution schedules, traffic phasing, and weekend closures for national road projects
• Demonstrable experience with large-scale infrastructure projects with execution costs exceeding 100 million euros
