As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Technical Product Designer for an 18-month fixed-term contract to support the Product Engineering team within the Product Engineering & Packaging department.

Job Description

The Product Engineering & Packaging department is responsible for the creation and management of engineering product data within the Sauer Compressors Group. In the Product Engineering team at the Kiel site, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials for compressor units as well as sub-assemblies and components for the expansion and maintenance of our product portfolio.

• Creation and modification of 3D models for components and assemblies according to specifications
• Creation and modification of drawing derivations and bills of materials for components and assemblies
• Creation, maintenance, and modification of master data for in-house manufactured and purchased parts in the PDM system
• Creation of quotation drawings
• General administrative and organizational tasks

• Completed vocational training as a Technical Product Designer or comparable qualification
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD (ideally HICAD) and PDM systems
• Enthusiasm for technical topics
• Teamwork skills as well as independent working style
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Confident use of MS Office
• English language skills, both written and spoken
