Technical Product Owner

Project overview

For our client in Bonn, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner.

Responsibilities

• Management of hardware and payment integrations including certification, piloting, and rollout
• Coordination of external hardware manufacturers and software service providers
• Recording and technical evaluation of requirements, as well as creation of user stories and change requests
• Backlog, release, and change management
• Management of smaller development and optimization projects
• Execution of functional tests and technical documentation
• Further development of Linux-based systems and preparation of a new operating system version, taking regulatory requirements into account

Requirements

• Knowledge of Linux/embedded systems, scripting with Python or Bash, and software development
• Technical understanding of networked hardware, mechanics, and electrics
• Experience with technical user stories, change requests, and release management
• Experience in managing external service providers
• Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• Willingness to perform practical tests on test systems
• Very good German language skills
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring, e.g., Elasticsearch/Kibana or Google Cloud Monitoring
• Knowledge of Docker and container environments
• Experience with payment terminals and electronic payment transactions
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience with rollouts and networked self-service systems
