Technical Product Owner Web/API – ex-developer profile (Freelance)

As part of the evolution of its web applications and services, our client, a major French group, is looking for a Technical Product Owner Web/API with a solid technical background and strong expertise in testing and application support.

We are looking for a profile from web development, who has moved into a techno-functional role: technical PO, technical AMOA, testing, or application support.

The challenge is to have an interlocutor capable of understanding technical issues, challenging development teams, ensuring the quality of delivered solutions, and driving topics forward by mobilizing the right stakeholders.

• Collect and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Write technical-functional specifications and user stories.
• Manage and perform technical and functional testing of web applications.
• Design, execute, and analyze API tests with Postman.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents (N2/N3 support): reproduction, diagnosis in logs and monitoring, database queries, and corrections.
• Identify the origin of an anomaly (front-end, API, database, or code), particularly using the browser's development tools.
• Understand and analyze the functioning of REST APIs, Web Services, and data flows between applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers to qualify and resolve anomalies.
• Participate in monitoring deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as the interface between business, support, QA, and development teams.
• Past experience in web development.
• Expertise in Postman and API testing.
• Excellent command of technical web testing and QA methodologies.
• Very good understanding of REST APIs, Web Services (REST and SOAP), JSON, and HTTP.
• Good knowledge of web technologies: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• SQL used daily: investigation queries, data extraction, and corrections.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and web deployment processes.
• Ability to write technical-functional specifications.
• Experience in N2/N3 application support.
• Monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, Splunk).
• Automated testing (Cypress) and load testing (JMeter).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience as a Product Owner or technical AMOA.
• Use of Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Git, or Jenkins tools.
