Job description

Experienced Technical Project Coordinator / MEP Site Manager needed for a complex building project, focusing on coordinating technical trades, tracking progress, and ensuring technical solutions are maintainable.

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Coordinator / MEP Site Manager (m/f/d) to support a complex building project.

Your tasks include coordinating technical trades such as HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and control, and building automation. You will track deadlines, decisions, and defects, identify technical risks, and advise project management on conflicting goals. As the interface between operations, planning, and execution, you will ensure that project requirements are considered in all phases and that technical solutions remain maintainable.

You will coordinate commissioning, functional tests, and technical acceptances from the operator's perspective, support handover processes, and ensure the transfer of relevant documents. Furthermore, you will ensure structured technical documentation, assist with compliance requirements, and regularly prepare the technical status for project management and facility management.

We expect several years of project experience in technical project execution, MEP site management, or owner's representation in complex buildings. Ideally, you have experience with renovation and refurbishment projects during ongoing operations. Sound knowledge of HVAC, electrical engineering, instrumentation and control, building automation, and commissioning processes is required. Basic knowledge of VOB and HOAI, as well as an understanding of operator responsibility and inspection obligations, are important.

Experience with CAFM systems, defect management tools, or digital construction site platforms is an advantage. You are characterized by strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented approach. Structured follow-up of open points and a high site presence are a matter of course.
