Technical Project Lead Hosting Platform Migration

Project overview

You will realize the technical migration of the LCMS platform to a new hosting environment. The assignment is temporary and results-oriented. You will independently determine how to achieve the agreed-upon results, within the applicable laws and regulations, architectural frameworks, security requirements, and contractual agreements.

The progress will be assessed based on the agreed-upon results, quality requirements, project milestones, and acceptance criteria.

The core of the Nederlands Instituut Publieke Veiligheid (NIPV / IFV) lies in providing clearly defined services for citizens, organizations, or public clients. In addition to substantive quality, predictable execution, information security, and proper process design are important.

Substantive professionals collaborate with teams for information provision, legal affairs, finance, HR, procurement, and communication. Changes in systems or regulations therefore usually have a direct impact on multiple parts of the organization.

Technological and societal developments create a continuous need for innovation in services and work processes. Collaboration with chain partners helps to implement these changes in a coherent manner.

• The candidate possesses at least 8 years of demonstrable experience in designing, realizing, and migrating complex IT infrastructures within enterprise environments. This must be evident from the CV.
• The candidate possesses at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in designing and realizing hosting, cloud, and/or hybrid infrastructure platforms. This must be evident from the CV.
• The candidate possesses at least 5 years of demonstrable experience with Linux-based infrastructure and container platforms, including Kubernetes. This must be evident from the CV.
• The candidate has demonstrable experience with: virtualization platforms, including VMware or comparable solutions
• network, web, and infrastructure components
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
• CI/CD and automated deployment processes. This must be evident from the CV (specify which experience and where).
• In the past 7 years, the candidate has successfully executed at least two complex migration or transition projects where business-critical applications were migrated to a new hosting, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure. This must be evident from the CV, clearly describing at least two reference projects.
• In the past 7 years, the candidate has demonstrably fulfilled a technical coordinating or technically final responsible role within at least one complex infrastructure, hosting, or migration project. This must be evident from the CV.
• You have demonstrable experience within government organizations, security regions, crisis organizations, or other regulated organizations. CV assessment.
• You have experience applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps principles within complex infrastructure, platform, or hosting environments. The experience must be described.
• You possess more than 10 years of demonstrable experience within IT infrastructure, hosting environments, and platform engineering. Describe this experience using relevant assignments.
• You have demonstrable experience collaborating with external technology vendors, hosting service providers, and/or managed service providers within complex infrastructure, transition, or migration projects. Describe this experience.
