• Development and standardization of PLC and TIA Portal concepts for conveyor technology systems in intralogistics
• Technical leadership of international project teams and coordination of internal departments and external interfaces with customers and suppliers
• Independent technical project management of service projects with a focus on performance optimization, modernization of existing systems, and small sorting systems
• Recording, analysis, and implementation of customer requirements within the scope of requirement management and in the engineering and commissioning process
• Support for quotation and cost calculation for service and modernization projects
• Creation of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Detail Design Specifications (DDS) taking into account applicable technical standards
• Participation in the planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of complex automated logistics and conveyor systems
• Ensuring efficient project execution through close coordination of all project participants along the entire project lifecycle

Requirements

• Completed degree in Automation Technology, Automation Informatics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the development, project planning, and commissioning of sorting, distribution, and conveyor technology systems with a focus on intralogistics applications
• Extensive knowledge in project planning and programming with Siemens STEP 7 and TIA Portal
• Sound know-how in the SIMATIC hardware portfolio and in PLC S7 software development
• Experience in creating technical specifications, especially Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detail Design Specifications (DDS), and supplier specifications
• Knowledge of working with engineering and CAE tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, or comparable systems is an advantage
• Familiar with methods and processes of requirement management in plant and mechanical engineering, for example according to the V-model
• Know-how in the technical implementation of complex automation and logistics projects from the concept phase to commissioning
• High willingness to travel internationally to support and realize worldwide projects
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
