Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager to lead digital and software projects from planning through successful delivery.

You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, developers, designers, and technical teams to manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and overall delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of digital and software development projects.

Gather requirements and translate business needs into clear delivery plans and priorities.

Manage timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and project scope.

Coordinate cross-functional technical and creative teams.

Manage client and stakeholder communication and provide regular project reporting.

Support project estimation, planning, and creation of statements of work.

Identify and resolve delivery issues and remove team blockers.

Drive Agile ways of working and continuous improvement.

Support delivery of projects involving AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in technical project management, software delivery, or digital project management.

Strong understanding of software development and Agile methodologies.

Experience managing developers and cross-functional delivery teams.

Strong stakeholder, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.

Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.

Fluent German (C1/C2) and good English (B2+) are essential.

Valid German work authorization and at least one year of professional onsite experience in Germany.

Willingness to travel when required.

Nice to have

Experience with AI, automation, cloud, APIs, DevOps, or digital transformation.

Experience working with international or distributed delivery teams.

Background in an agency, consultancy, or technology services environment.
