Technical Project Manager Gas High-Pressure Pipeline Construction for Long-Term Infrastructure Project

Project overview

For a long-term project south of Kassel, an experienced construction supervisor (m/f/d) in overhead line construction is sought.

The focus is on monitoring cable pulling, assembly work, and quality requirements. Furthermore, the activity includes documenting construction progress and coordinating with the executing companies and project management.

Responsibilities

Monitoring construction execution regarding compliance with execution planning, technical regulations, and quality requirements

Construction supervision of cable pulling, including cable adjustment and cable car activities

Inspection of the proper execution of assembly work on high-voltage pylons

Monitoring compliance with occupational safety, safety regulations, and environmental regulations

Checking compliance with project-specific permit conditions

Identification, documentation, and follow-up of defects and deviations

Regular documentation of the construction site

Maintaining construction diaries and preparing status reports

Participation in construction meetings

Coordination with the executing companies and project management

Technical quality control of the services performed

Requirements

At least three years of relevant professional experience as a construction manager or construction supervisor in overhead line construction within the last five years

Sound practical knowledge in conductor cable pulling, cable adjustment, and cable car activities

Experience with overhead line assembly and work on high-voltage pylons

Experience in quality assurance, defect management, and construction site documentation

Fit for heights and willingness to climb high-voltage pylons

Valid working at height training including rescue from height

Independent and structured way of working

Strong communication skills and confident demeanor on the construction site
