Project overview
Technical Project Manager – Workforce Management (WFM) Implementation
Language: Fluent German & English required
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the rollout and localization of a group-wide standardized Workforce Management system (WFM ROCK Next Gen with SAP FSM, GridCare, ASSZähler) alongside the implementation of a standardized Fault Reporting Management system (SMM). This is a key role within a large-scale transformation programme, supporting approximately 1,800 end users through migration, testing, and transition to stable regular operation.
Key Responsibilities
Independently plan, structure, and drive technical project management topics within the WFM implementation
Analyse technical issues, system dependencies, and interfaces, and derive actionable recommendations
Prepare technical decision-making bases covering solution variants, risks, and impacts
Structure, coordinate, and track technical work packages and cross-system dependencies
Translate technical requirements into evaluated solutions and concrete recommendations
Maintain transparency on project progress, milestones, risks, and open action items
Concept, prepare, and moderate technical workshops and voting formats, documenting outcomes and measures
Identify and assess project risks, conflicting objectives, and dependencies, developing mitigation and escalation options
Plan and coordinate technical testing, integration, and implementation activities, evaluating results and follow-up actions
Provide consulting on technical and project methodology topics, including recommendations for project management and implementation
Requirements
Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
Above-average stakeholder management and conflict resolution competence
Independent, results-oriented working style with strong loyalty and identification with the task
Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
Extensive experience managing agile projects in a transformation environment
