Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Technical Writer (m/f/d) Military Ground Systems & Technical Documentation to provide consulting services on the project:

Responsibilities

• Creation, revision, and maintenance of operating, user, maintenance, and repair manuals
• Creation of understandable and legally compliant user documentation
• Description of operating, service, and maintenance processes, taking into account relevant standards and requirements from machine safety
• Creation of CE-relevant documentation
• Analysis of existing documentation and identification of optimization potential
• Coordination with development, design, service, and product management
• Creation and integration of image and photo documentation
• Information gathering directly on systems and assemblies

Requirements

• Very good experience as a Technical Writer, Technical Editor, or Documentation Specialist
• Good experience in creating operating, user, and maintenance manuals
• Very good technical understanding of complex systems
• Good experience in the field of military ground systems, defense technology, or defense-related products
• Good knowledge of relevant standards and requirements in the field of technical documentation
• Good experience with CE-relevant documentation is an advantage
• Good skills in preparing complex technical issues in a target-group-oriented and understandable manner
• Good experience with Microsoft Word and common documentation tools
