Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer for a project in the field of plant and mechanical engineering. You will be working as a freelancer with a high workload (75-100%) for a period of 12 months. The location is in Baden-Württemberg with the possibility of making 80% of the work remote.
Your tasks include the creation and maintenance of technical documentation in the IT/OT environment. You will work on the development of maintenance, operational, and emergency concepts and support the team with internal and external project documentation. A focus is on structuring complex technical content for various target groups as well as coordination with the project team and specialist departments.
Required competencies include sound knowledge of IEC 62443, experience in technical documentation, and familiarity with IT/OT systems. You should be able to create process documentation and present complex content comprehensibly.
The project starts from May/June and offers the option for extension beyond the initially planned 12 months. Ideal for freelancers specializing in technical documentation and safety standards in industry.
