Job description
Experienced technician for electrical engineering needed for the construction and integration of custom-designed test stand cabinets. Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, testing, and coordination of production forces.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced technician for electrical engineering for our location in Nuremberg. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction and integration of individually planned test stand cabinets in 19" format, including high-frequency components, cooling systems, and control computers.
Your tasks include the installation of electrical engineering components in the low-voltage range with professional wiring of high-frequency, data, and power supply lines. You will carry out integration, commissioning, and functional tests of all components – both in the laboratory and during system introduction and maintenance work on-site at the customer's premises. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the testing and measurement of components and functional modules.
Another focus is on the technical coordination of internal and external production staff as well as responsibility for incoming goods, laboratory operations, and outgoing products for efficient material and product flow. You will document projects and work results in a structured manner using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
We expect a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. Practical experience in control cabinet construction as well as knowledge in high-frequency technology, sensor technology, and information technology are required. Experience in the avionics environment is an advantage.
You are characterized by high initiative, strong technical understanding, and quality orientation. Very good German and English skills (B2+) are a prerequisite. You are flexible, willing to travel for occasional business trips primarily in Southern Germany, and proficient in using Microsoft Office and common PC applications.
