Technical Project Management Pitch Bearings and Drives Wind Turbines

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced engineer for the independent management and coordination of development projects in the field of pitch bearings and associated drive systems for wind turbines. You will accompany the entire product development process from requirements definition through design and development to factory and field tests and series transfer.

Your tasks include close coordination with suppliers, development partners, and internal departments, planning and structuring project activities, and technical verification of complex electromechanical systems. You will continuously monitor project progress, deadlines, and risks and initiate countermeasures if necessary. Furthermore, you will create project-relevant documentation, technical reports, and status reports and collaborate with international engineering teams.

We expect a completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field, as well as sound experience in the design, monitoring, and measurement analysis of pitch bearings and drive systems, ideally in the wind energy sector. You have very good knowledge in the development, design, and verification of drive components as well as practical experience in technical project execution and common project management methods. Strong communication skills, a structured way of working, and very good English skills are required.

The position is limited to 13 months with possible follow-up assignments. The location is Rostock with partial remote work. Full-time employment (40 hours/week).
