Seeking a Technical Purchaser with experience in procuring production plants and special machinery, from requirements clarification to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
Project overview
Procurement of complete production plants and individual special machinery, from requirements clarification to the selection of suitable suppliers.
Translation of specifications into precise and structured tender documents.
Conducting market analyses as well as obtaining and systematically comparing multiple offers.
Preparation and execution of negotiations with suppliers regarding conditions and scope of services.
Support of investment projects, especially in the procurement of new plants, and coordination of the interface between technology, purchasing, and suppliers.
Independent management and execution of negotiations with suppliers.
Independent negotiation of contracts, taking into account the agreed requirements and conditions.
Responsibility for the negotiation of complex plant construction contracts and service contracts, including the coordination of essential contract contents.
Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
Requirements
Several years of experience in project purchasing, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering or the automotive sector.
Experience with complex technical procurement projects (no catalog goods).
Knowledge of tenders, contract design, guarantees, payment terms, and security mechanisms.
Negotiation experience with suppliers.
Ability to critically compare offers.
Experience with SAP desirable.
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
