Technical Support Engineer for Infrastructure

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to support our infrastructure projects. In this role, you will act as the technical point of contact for all infrastructure-related software and hardware configurations.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support in the area of software and hardware, including PC administration, cabling, and operational tasks
• Defining and documenting interfaces between software and hardware using tools such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Confluence, Jira, and Mentor
• Planning and tracking implementations and changes to the hardware-software interface
• Responsibility for configuration management in coordination with internal stakeholders
• Acting as a technical interface between development, standardization, certification, and testing departments
• Providing recovery support for urgent and time-critical issues
• Developing and adapting test routines as needed

Requirements

• Degree as an engineer in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong technical skills in electronics and mechanics
• Systematic, logical, and structured way of working
• Very good communication skills and helpful demeanor
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Good computer skills
• High flexibility and willingness to travel; short-term assignments and extended working hours possible
