Project overview

An experienced scheduler is sought for demanding construction projects in the field of energy, infrastructure, and battery storage. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules across all project phases – from design through planning and approval to execution.

You will ensure transparent schedule structures, analyze project progress, identify scheduling risks, and support project management with meaningful analyses and recommendations for action. You will work closely with specialist planners, authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Project Environment: Construction projects in the areas of energy, infrastructure, and battery storage

Project Phase: Design, planning, approval, and execution

• Creation, coordination, and continuous maintenance of integrated project schedules across all project phases
• Linking and coordination of planning, approval, procurement, and construction processes
• Management and monitoring of project schedules, as well as regular progress analyses and target-actual comparisons
• Identification and evaluation of critical paths and early detection of schedule deviations
• Conducting risk analyses and scenario considerations to assess possible schedule delays
• Creation of regular schedule reports and meaningful analyses for project management and the executive team
• Review and evaluation of construction processes and the scheduling impact of change orders
• Coordination of the schedule with specialist planners, authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Development and coordination of suitable measures to meet project milestones and schedule targets
• Support for project management in the transparent presentation of schedule status and early identification of the need for action
• At least five years of professional experience in scheduling construction projects
• Very good knowledge of MS Project and MS Excel
• Knowledge of Primavera and Power BI is desirable
• Sound experience in scheduling and controlling construction projects
• Additional experience in energy or industrial projects, as well as in demolition or construction in existing buildings, is an advantage
• Good knowledge of construction execution and an understanding of the interrelationships of complex construction processes
• Basic knowledge of building code law and the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG)
• Good English language skills
• Independent, proactive, analytical, and structured way of working
• Strong understanding of schedule dependencies, critical project paths, and scheduling risks
• Strong communication skills and confidence in coordinating with various project stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and participate in project-related appointments
