Test Analyst [Accounting Systems]

Project overview

We are looking for a senior candidate for the role of Senior Test Analyst with knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, and Enterprise Architect for our client in the banking sector on a project transforming and testing key accounting systems.

Project requirements

• Participation in the strategic modernization and testing of accounting systems in a leading banking institution
• Working in an agile Scrum team within a Testing Center of Excellence, focusing on complex financial and banking processes
• Working with modern tools and technologies such as JIRA, Zephyr, Enterprise Architect, ReadyAPI, Playwright, or JMeter, and effective use of AI tools for test analysis
• Comprehensive test analysis, creation of test scenarios, and design of test data based on provided analytical documentation
• Effort estimation, preparation, and execution of integration, automated, and performance tests
• Detailed analysis of defects and close cooperation with the development team to resolve them
• Cooperation with a minimum of 60% onsite (Prague) and 40% remote
• Advanced experience with:
• test analysis, test design, and creation of complex test scenarios
• testing in the domain of accounting (chart of accounts, account analytics, accounting rules) or participation in an accounting system replacement/deployment project
• test and defect management in JIRA and Zephyr tools
• Experience with:
• modeling and reading documentation in Enterprise Architect and UML
• API testing and automation via ReadyAPI, Bruno, Playwright, or JMeter
• effective use of AI tools to streamline test analysis and test design
• delivery in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of:
• banking products and financial processes
• testing standards at the ISTQB Advanced Level (certification or equivalent knowledge)
• Knowledge of:
• active communication in English
• Advantageous:
• creating test scripts in TypeScript or Python
• working with logging tools Graylog, Kibana, or the PEK system
• experience in coordinating a small team of testers
