We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

YOUR MISSION

At our client's site, in addition to central data storage and a data analysis platform with current software tools for analysis, a simulation-based forecasting capability for future-oriented usage control is being developed.

• Project location: Bonn
• Period: November 16, 2026 to December 31, 2026
• Work mix: 30 days remote / 4 days on-site
• Important: Remote work only possible within Germany
• Important: Project language is German
• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 according to § 9 SÜG (classified information/sabotage protection)
• Extension possible until June 30, 2027 (100 person-days remote / 10 days on-site)

• Ensure and further develop the application on the fundamentally enabled cloud
• Work with PaaS for Data Analytics and Big Data Platform
• Within various domains, existing data sources are centralized, aggregated, prepared, and analyzed
• Build and operate essential application components
• Ensure CI/CD deployment processes, image ordering and provisioning, and automation
• Connect interfaces and ensure the use of the application for analytical tasks
• Certified Tester Foundation Level of ISTQB or comparable
• min. 5 years with agile working methods, Scrum, Kanban
• min. 5 years practical functional/non-functional testing experience
• min. 5 years experience in preparation and execution of manual tests
• min. 5 years experience in creating and implementing UI tests
• min. 5 years experience in test management, test automation, test design
• min. 5 years experience in creating and maintaining automated tests (Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress)
• min. 5 years experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools
• min. 5 years experience with scripting in test tools
• min. 5 years experience with source code management (Git)
• min. 5 years experience in API testing
• min. 5 years experience in End2End testing
• min. 5 years experience in capturing and modeling requirements
• min. 5 years experience in creating and analyzing business concepts and deriving test scenarios and test cases
• min. 5 years experience in defining test data
• min. 5 years experience with test execution control, definition, and maintenance of test inventories/catalogs
• min. 5 years experience in creating and providing test protocols
• min. 5 years experience with maintenance of test cases, test environments, and test tools (AML or comparable)
• min. 5 years experience with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) or similar tools
