Test Automation Engineer with Test Database Knowledge

Project overview

For a one-year project, we are looking for an experienced test automation engineer with a focus on test databases. The project runs from January to December 2027 and can be carried out fully remotely from Nuremberg.

Your tasks include the development and maintenance of automated tests at UI, API, and end-to-end levels with modern frameworks. You will further develop the test automation framework and integrate it into existing CI/CD pipelines. A focus is on the creation, maintenance, and validation of test data using SQL, as well as the provision and resetting of reproducible test data sets. Furthermore, you will analyze and document test results and identify defects.

We expect several years of experience in test automation as well as demonstrable direct project experience with Playwright in TypeScript or Java. Practical knowledge of relational test databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server is required. You should be proficient with SQL, Git, and CI/CD systems. Good German language skills complete your profile.
