Test Management Consultant

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Test Management Consultant for PLM integration.

Project Goal: Conceptualization and functional coordination of traceable test management for the integration of PLM software, including UAT, defect management, visualization of test progress, and preparation for release and go-live readiness.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization and structuring of test management for the integration of PLM software, including Jira project, issue, and storage structures, as well as workflows for test cases, defects, and approvals.
• Creation, coordination, and maintenance of test cases, test prerequisites, and acceptance criteria for the UAT phase, as well as ensuring the traceability and completeness of test documentation based on defined quality criteria.
• Preparation and functional coordination of end-user activities, including coordination of qualification needs, creation of information materials, and structured preparation of relevant content.
• Planning and moderation of project-related status and coordination meetings, including preparation of decision-making bases, documentation of results, and follow-up of open points.
• Development and maintenance of Jira dashboards and other visualizations for test progress, risks, open defects, and release readiness for Release 5.4 in February and the Technical Go-Live in April.

• Several years of experience in test management, especially in UAT projects, integration projects, or complex system implementations.
• Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence or comparable tools for test cases, defects, workflows, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Experience in planning and functional coordination of several parallel integrations, as well as in release and go-live readiness processes.
• Strong skills in creating test cases, acceptance criteria, status reports, decision documents, and management visualizations.
• Confident stakeholder and communication management with business departments, end-users, technical contacts, and project managers, as well as experience in preparing qualification measures.
