Test Management SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program

For a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation program, two freelance project positions in test management are planned. The profiles are needed for a bid submission; subsequent commissioning is subject to award.

Responsibilities

• Development and continuation of overarching test strategies and test concepts for complex SAP S/4HANA projects
• Planning, coordination, and control of test activities within the transformation program
• Leadership and coordination of test teams as well as coordination with project management and business departments
• Creation, review, and execution of technically coordinated test cases
• Control of test documentation, including error analysis and systematic defect tracking
• Ensuring quality requirements and monitoring test progress
• Use of suitable test management methods and tools, such as SAP Solution Manager and defect tracking systems
• Preparation of reporting on test status, risks, and quality of test results
• Consideration of classic and agile project approaches as well as relevant standards in test management

• MUST: Core competence in test management or comparable; continuous practical expertise at expert level (at least 5 years each) in test planning, test execution, test management methods and tools, project management, test team leadership, analytical-organizational test strategy development, confident demeanor, resilience, communication, and reporting
• MUST: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification; relevant certification, e.g., ISTQB, and several relevant further training courses
• MUST: SAP module knowledge, especially FI, CO, PSM, and/or PS-CD
• MUST: At least two comparable reference projects from the last five years with at least two subject areas: SAP S/4HANA, FI, CO, PSM, or PS-CD
• MUST: Test management in complex IT projects; test tools, e.g., SAP Solution Manager and defect tracking
• MUST: Independent solution of highly complex tasks as well as creation of demanding analyses and concepts
• MUST: Assertiveness, high resilience, and excellent communication and reporting skills
• MUST: Very good IT and MS Office skills
• SHOULD: In-depth practice (at least 3 years each) in public administration, IT implementation dynamics, agile end-user collaboration, classic/agile project management, test case creation/execution, test documentation, error analysis, quality management, and V-Modell XT Bund; independent processing of medium-complexity tasks, analyses, and concepts; relevant further training; SAP S/4HANA test practice preferred
• MUST: German fluent in spoken and written, as well as good English skills
