Test Manager SAP RISE – SAP Migration | S/4HANA | Test Strategy | Defect Management

For a demanding SAP migration project, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager SAP RISE with a focus on overarching test management, test coordination, and management reporting.

As part of the project, a complex SAP system landscape will be migrated from an existing on-premise platform to SAP RISE. The environment includes, among others, ERP, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BO/BI, interfaces, and numerous peripheral systems. In this role, you will take leading responsibility for planning, steering, and implementing the test strategy and test concept.

• Responsibility for the operational implementation of the test strategy and test concept
• Planning, steering, and tracking of test activities across multiple teams
• Ensuring test coverage for functional and non-functional test types
• Creation and maintenance of the test plan for the entire project
• Support with test scope, test packages, and prioritization for agile teams and business departments
• Coordination and tracking of defects, incidents, risks, and open points
• Establishment of consistent test reporting across various tools
• Consolidation of test results into clear reports for project management, epic owners, and management
• Planning and coordination of Business Acceptance Testing
• Moderation of defect boards and coordination of deadlines, priorities, and dependencies
• Ongoing communication regarding test progress, risks, acceptance status, and open defects
• Collaboration with SAP Basis, integration teams, external migration partners, business departments, security, and project management
• Several years of experience as a Test Manager in complex SAP projects
• Experience with SAP system landscapes such as ERP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BO/BI, legacy systems, or SAP Public Cloud
• Experience in test management of migrations, ideally in the SAP RISE environment or comparable SAP transformation projects
• Confident handling of complex interface landscapes and peripheral systems
• Experience in planning, steering, and coordinating tests across many teams and stakeholders
• Experience with functional and non-functional tests as well as acceptance and fallback criteria
• Sound knowledge of defect management, incident management, and risk tracking
• Experience collaborating with business departments, development, test managers, SAP Basis, integration teams, and external partners
• Ability to prepare test results clearly, factually, and in a management-ready format
• Strong communication, moderation skills, and confident demeanor, even with critical findings
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
