Tester ServiceNow

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced tester with ServiceNow experience (all genders) for our client in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Creation, execution, and documentation of test cases for ServiceNow SPM in the areas of Demand Management, Portfolio Management, Project Management, Resource Management, and Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP).
• Ensuring that acceptance criteria and functional requirements are met before handover to stakeholders.
• Contributing and representing the QA/tester perspective in the team, including analysis of requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria regarding testability and completeness.
• Independent creation and execution of functional tests, regression tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Support for the business department and UAT testers in the creation, execution, and analysis of tests and test results.
• Central interface for findings from the business department and UAT, including initial evaluation and classification of findings (e.g., Defect, Requirement Gap), documentation of defects, and forwarding to the responsible development team.

• Several years of experience as a tester in software projects.
• Experience with ServiceNow, especially ServiceNow SPM, is highly advantageous. If SPM experience is lacking, the willingness to independently and quickly familiarize oneself with SPM is assumed.
• Experience in test design, test case creation, and defect management.
• Knowledge of common testing methods and techniques, e.g., exploratory testing, risk-based testing, and regression testing.
• Experience with agile development methods (Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and ServiceNow Test Management 2.0 is advantageous.
• Experience with complex enterprise environments is advantageous.
• ISTQB certification is advantageous.
• Very good communication skills at the working level
• High degree of independence as well as structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong accuracy and quality awareness
• Ability to moderate different stakeholders and lead them to a common solution
• Strong user orientation and ability to empathize with the user's perspective
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and team-oriented way of working
• Desired start date: asap
• Utilization: 80%-100%
• On-site share: approx. 5 times per year, 1-2 days each
• Language: DE (fluent) and EN (fluent)
