Project overview

Our consultancy client are looking for an experienced 2LoD TPRM consultant to work supporting the head of information and data resilience for a major bank. They are currently going through a major global TPRM remediation programme and they are looking to bring someone in to provide second line oversight and challenge across the programme. You will provide 2LoD oversight and constructively challenge across Third Part Risk, continuity and resilience activities. You will review programme deliverables, artefacts, procedures and controls for alignment with relevant policy and regulatory requirements.

Hep identify risk and control gaps and assess whether remediation activity effectively addresses underlying risk and root causes. You will act as a trusted adviser to programme stakeholders providing TRP SME input on key decisions and deliverables as well as review and challenge programme MI, metrics and evidence used to demonstrate remediation progress and completion.

Working with limited supervision you need to be able to make this role your own and be able to self direct. You will be able to move between detailed artefact review and broader programme level risk judgement challenging whether remediation genuinely addresses underlying risks rather than simply completing actions or milestones. You will be comfortable working with incomplete information and ambiguity bringing structure to unclear problems and developing practical approaches where none are already defined.

This role will require you to be in the office upto 3 days a week in London (flexible) and will be insider IR35.
