Turnaround Planner / Maintenance Planner

Project overview

For a project in the chemical or process engineering industry, we are looking for an experienced Turnaround Planner / Maintenance Planner to support the planning and execution of plant shutdowns.

• Creation and development of work packages based on SAP notifications (P5 jobs)
• Conducting on-site inspections to determine the scope of work and identify technical and safety-related requirements
• Definition of work steps, resource requirements, material lists, tools, and external contractors
• Effort estimation, schedule planning, and determination of work sequences
• Ensuring the availability of materials, equipment, and resources before the start of the turnaround
• Control and monitoring of assigned work packages during the turnaround phase
• Progress control and coordination with schedulers, operations, area managers, shift supervisors, and contractors
• Support in solving technical and organizational challenges during execution

Requirements

• Several years of experience in maintenance and turnaround planning
• Sound knowledge of SAP PM
• Technical understanding in the areas of mechanics, electrical engineering, and measurement, control, and regulation technology (MSR)
• Experience in creating work packages and work preparation
• Knowledge from the chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process industry is an advantage
• Structured and independent way of working as well as strong communication skills
