Project overview
We are seeking an experienced UAT Test Manager to take ownership of User Acceptance Testing for a large-scale enterprise transformation programme. This is a business-critical role responsible for ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, meet business requirements, and are ready for deployment across a complex, multi-site and international environment.
Outside of IR35
6 Month contract
£450 - £500 a day
3 days a week onsite in the Glasgow area
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full UAT lifecycle, from strategy and planning through to execution, defect management and business sign-off.
Design realistic end-to-end business acceptance scenarios that validate business processes and operational outcomes.
Engage, coordinate and support business users and SMEs acting as testers, balancing testing activities with operational priorities.
Drive UAT execution, monitor progress, manage risks and provide clear status reporting to programme stakeholders.
Oversee defect triage and resolution, ensuring issues are prioritised appropriately and resolved in line with programme timelines.
Support data migration validation and integration testing activities from a business acceptance perspective.
Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineering teams within an Agile delivery environment.
