Project overview

At virtual7, we combine our technological expertise with a deep understanding of our clients' needs. Through tailor-made solutions, we create real added value for our framework contract partners in public administration. We are currently looking for a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

YOUR MISSION

Our client is developing a data analysis platform with current software tools for analysis, as well as simulation-based forecasting capabilities for future usage control, in addition to central data storage.

• Project location: Bonn
• Period: November 16, 2026 to December 31, 2026
• Work mix: 30 days remote / 4 days on-site
• Important: Remote work only possible within Germany
• Important: Project language in German
• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 according to § 9 SÜG classified/sabotage protection
• Extension possible until June 30, 2027 (100 person-days remote / 10 days on-site)

• Ensuring and further developing the application on the fundamentally enabled cloud
• Working with PaaS for Data Analytics and Big Data Platform
• In the context of various domains, existing data sources are centralized, aggregated, prepared, and analyzed
• Building and operating essential application components
• Ensuring deployment processes CI/CD, image ordering and provision, automation
• Connecting interfaces and using the application for analytical tasks
• Completed degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, or comparable qualification
• Certified Professional for User Experience of the UXQB or similar
• Submission of a meaningful portfolio with relevant UX/UI projects, preferably from the B2B or enterprise environment
• min. 5 years of experience with UI/UX design and prototyping, as well as experience with relevant tools, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Interactive High-Fidelity Prototyping
• min. 5 years of experience in end-to-end product development
• min. 3 years of experience with conceptual UX methods & information architecture & CPUX-F certificate
• min. 3 years of experience in designing accessible frontends
• min. 3 years of experience with UX research & requirements analysis
• min. 3 years of experience user support & user research (qualitative & quantitative)
• min. 3 years of experience Mobile-First & Cross-Platform UX/UI Design
• min. 3 years of experience with agile working methods, Scrum, Kanban
• min. 1 year of experience in frontend development (Core UI Stack)
• min. 1 year of experience with TypeScript & frontend frameworks
• min. 1 year of experience in projects focusing on the delivery of data visualization products
• min. 1 year of experience in deriving test scenarios and test cases
