UiPath Platform & Governance Consultant

Project overview

For our client, an internationally active technology company, we are looking for a UiPath Platform & Governance Consultant (m/f/d) to provide the following services:

Responsibilities

• Analysis and evaluation of the existing UiPath platform landscape including Orchestrator, Robots, environments, permissions, and monitoring.
• Conception and implementation of a scalable, secure, and standardized UiPath target architecture.
• Setup and optimization of development, test, and production environments.
• Establishment of deployment, release, and change management processes for RPA solutions.
• Development and enforcement of governance policies, naming conventions, and operational standards.
• Implementation of security concepts such as role-based permissions, credential management, and service accounts.
• Introduction of monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting standards for the secure operation of automation solutions.
• Definition of operational and responsibility models between IT, business departments, and the RPA Center of Excellence.
• Consulting on architectural decisions regarding UiPath Cloud, On-Premise, and Hybrid scenarios.
• Coaching and enablement of UiPath developers regarding best practices, design patterns, and quality standards.
• Introduction of code reviews, testing standards, and quality gates for productive deployments.
• Support in integrating UiPath into existing corporate and ERP landscapes.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in the enterprise RPA environment with UiPath (at least 5 years).
• Experience as an RPA Architect, UiPath Solution Architect, Lead RPA Developer, or Governance Consultant.
• Profound know-how in the conception and operation of UiPath Automation Cloud and/or On-Premise environments.
• Demonstrable experience in building and further developing RPA platforms and Centers of Excellence.
• Very good knowledge in the areas of UiPath Orchestrator, Robot Lifecycle Management, license management, and tenant configuration.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, GitHub, version control, and release management.
• Knowledge in the areas of IT Governance, IT Security, Identity & Access Management, and IT Service Management.
• Experience with SAP environments, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, web applications, and VDI/Citrix landscapes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of alternative automation and workflow platforms (e.g., n8n) is desirable.
• Certifications such as UiPath Solution Architect, UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, ITIL, or TOGAF are an advantage.
• Fluent English, German language skills are an advantage.
