An established provider in the healthcare sector is looking for an experienced Uniface Developer for the further development of business-critical applications in healthcare. The role combines technical responsibility for central modules with gradual modernization and the targeted use of AI in software engineering.

Requirements
- Several years of senior experience in Uniface development, ideally in business-critical and long-lasting application systems
- Sound understanding of relational databases, e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with version control as well as build, deployment, and delivery processes
- Confident handling of software integration and the gradual modernization of existing systems
- Completed technical or IT-related university degree, e.g., in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering
- Fluent German and fluent English, both written and spoken
- Self-directed, pragmatic working style and strong problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Java, Quarkus, or healthcare interfaces
- Experience with Claude Code or comparable AI agents, AI pipelines, and context engineering
- Practical experience in integration with TI, ePA, GDT, LDT, or xDT environments

- Take end-to-end responsibility for selected modules of an established Uniface-based application system
- Analyze, refactor, and make existing Uniface codebases more maintainable and stable
- Secure critical healthcare processes and reliably further develop existing software
- Integrate Uniface modules with modern Java/Quarkus services and AI-supported workflows
- Further develop interfaces to the Telematics Infrastructure, electronic patient record, and GDT, LDT, and xDT standards
- Use AI agents and tools like Claude Code for code analysis, refactoring, and documentation, and share insights within the team
- Shape the long-term modernization strategy of the platform together with architecture and engineering
