Assignment Description

Logius.Publicatie is looking for a UX/UI designer who will be deployed on a strippenkaart basis within the Consolidatie team. The designer will design and develop new components and functionalities for various Logius.Publicatie websites, including wetten.overheid.nl, lokaleregelgeving.overheid.nl, and kwest.overheid.nl. The work includes UX/UI design, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design. The designer will work closely with product owners, developers, and content specialists within an agile/SAFe environment.

Background of the Assignment

Within Logius.Publicatie, existing digital government services are being further developed and expanded. There is a need for flexible UX/UI expertise for design and development of new functionalities and components. Deployment will be on a strippenkaart basis and the scope may vary per issue.

Requirements

Only submit Dutch CVs with a maximum of 5 pages. HBO/WO work and thinking level in the field of UX, interaction design, visual design, or comparable. Demonstrable knowledge of UX/UI design and responsive web design. Knowledge of accessibility and user-friendliness for digital service delivery. Good command of the Dutch and English languages. Candidate must have their own (development) laptop with access password, encrypted hard drive, up-to-date antivirus software, and for the tasks to be performed. Knowledge and experience with Figma. Knowledge of design systems and component-based design.

Demonstrable experience as a UX/UI designer or interaction designer (5 years). Experience with designing new web pages, functionalities, and digital interfaces (5 years). Experience with Figma (2 years).

Wishes

Experience within the Central Government or with government websites is a pré. Experience with the Central Government house style, design systems, and accessibility of digital service delivery is desired. Experience with the websites wetten.overheid.nl, lokaleregelgeving.overheid.nl, and/or kwest.overheid.nl is a pré. Pragmatic agile/SAFe working.

Independent, analytical, creative, communicative. Can translate complex information into clear and user-friendly designs. Works well with developers, product owners, and content specialists. Can clearly substantiate design choices.

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) quarterly. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
