Project: We are looking for a UX Designer / UX Consultant (m/f/d) to independently manage the entire UX process – from research and user analysis through ideation, conception, and prototyping to validation, specification, and quality assurance of the implementation.

The focus is on the conception and design of digital products and features for web and mobile. Requirements from the business are captured, user needs are substantiated through suitable research and testing methods, and translated into clear user journeys, user flows, and screens. Existing design systems and interaction patterns are reliably applied and further developed as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducting UX research, user analyses, and user tests
• Developing ideas, concepts, and user journeys
• Designing and evaluating user flows and screens together with the business
• Creating prototypes and conducting validations
• Translating concepts into precise UX/UI specifications
• Accompanying the implementation and ensuring UX/UI quality
• Conception and design of features for web and mobile banking
• Collaboration and stakeholder management with various requesters
• Application and, if necessary, further development of the existing design system
• Ensuring compliance with customer brand guidelines as well as existing design and interaction patterns
• Consideration of specific Apple and Android guidelines for mobile applications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a comparable digital design role
• Sound experience with the entire UX process: research, ideation, conception, prototyping, validation, and specification
• Very good knowledge of modern UX/UI design principles
• Experience in designing and evaluating complex user flows, journeys, and digital products
• Experience with extensive design systems and their application
• Practical experience in the conception of mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Confident stakeholder management and experience in collaborating with business departments
• Ability to translate requirements and research findings into concrete flows, interactions, and screens
• Experience in quality assurance of UX/UI during technical implementation)
• German: C2
• English: nice to have
