For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for support that meets the following requirements:

For a long-term project as part of an ongoing outsourcing program, we are looking for an experienced VMware Specialist. The focus is on ensuring stable operation, stabilizing a complex VMware infrastructure, and structured knowledge transfer to the future operating organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the existing VMware infrastructure
• Administration, operation, and error analysis of complex VMware environments
• Support and assistance in the area of VMware NSX
• Analysis and troubleshooting of disruptions and technical problems
• Stabilization of business-critical infrastructure components
• Securing and structured handover of existing system and operational knowledge
• Documentation of operationally relevant processes, configurations, and system landscapes
• Support with knowledge transfer to external operating organizations

• Sound knowledge and several years of practical experience with VMware infrastructures
• Demonstrable experience in the operation and administration of complex VMware environments
• Very good knowledge in error analysis and troubleshooting of VMware systems
• Advanced knowledge in the area of VMware NSX
• Experience in technical documentation and knowledge transfer
• Fluent German language skills
